The Blitz on Britian

Watching the video in class got me thinking, I know the Nazis had a vendetta against the British, but all the bombings at the same time was a little overboard. The "fire bombs" were a great advantage for the Nazis to mark their targets. I have to say that Hitler took a lot of time into coming up with this plan, for he took into consideration the drought and the winds with his bombings. It was a terrible, catosrtophic event for London, but it was a great attempt to eliminate Britian from the war. Hitler was a smart guy.

Election 1932

Ok first of all, the Germans really have choice issues because of the major switch for power. Although the Nazis are ahead by A LOT Hindinburg still wins the vote. Appointing Hitler as his back-up though is probably the choice that started the war. If Hitler did not have power, 6 million+ lives would be spared at one cost...Germany would be Communist. Personaly i think communism isn't so bad. The Russians work well with it. If you break the law, then the Gulag it is. There is no rich/poor or lawyers for everyone to hate in court.

Test Day

Well I think that the test was a little bit eaiser than I expected it to be. I have to say that i was soo focused on WWI stuff that i forgot where to hand in the test...well anyway, i wish that i was right on most of them because when he read the scores i became unsure. And when you teachers read this...thanks for no essay because that would have sucked!!

The End

So we finally ended WWI and i thought it was just a bunch of worthless fights. The Kiaser was a big pushover when he heard about losing the war and sent Ludendorff away. There was no need for so much bloodshed on the last day of the war. Woodrow Wilson's 14 points didnt even help at all with the end of the war because they were not passed by Senate. If you add all of it up, everything was worthless, the only thing that happened was death. They both ended where they started. There was no point, Kiaser was just a baby and wanted land and to control the world. The same thing is going to happen with Hitler soon...

Mark Cole's WWI Propaganda

Global war and British Empire

WWI was considered a "global war" because it spread throughout the world. When Germany had a some-what strong navy, they spread their empire all around. They took land in Africa, the Carribiean, islands in the Pacific, and a major port in China. Germany wanted to destroy the British Empire so they could have control. The British Empire was strong and stable, but with ships spread out, and Germany with an upperhand, it was vounerable. When the battles between Germany and the British "rang out", everyone around the globe knew, and took part, in opposing this threat.
